He is an adjunct professor at Lincoln Law School and teaches Wills and Trusts. In addition to teaching Heath has participated as a volunteer scoring and presiding judge for the annual Gordon D. Schaber Mock Trial Competition for area high school students for the past 13 years. When asked why he does it, Heath replied, "Because these students are wicked good!"
Heath is the past President of the Board of Directors of the Simonton Cancer Center. He is the current President of the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Valley Velodrome Association and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Riders Club.
In his free time, you can catch Heath playing golf as a member of the Nine One Six Golf Club, and you might be able to catch him on the bike as a member of the Hammer Nutrition Masters Cycling Team on gravel or on the track. Heath is a former California State Champion track cyclist and has competed internationally in velodrome races. He is a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loves pro cycling and NCAA basketball. He is also a podcast junkie.
Daily delight comes from spending time with his wife Amy and daughter Harper. Listening to live music, enjoying a glass of wine, or spending time with friends and family are paramount. Heath is a huge fan of Harper's taekwondo skills, loves listening to her play the piano, and really gets a kick from her reactions to his attempts at duplicating TikTok dances.
