Leila T. Banks is an attorney at Bold, Polisner, Maddow, Nelson & Judson, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and trust litigation. She regularly advises and represents fiduciaries in trust litigation and dispute resolution. She also assists clients in planning for marriage by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Leila joined BPMNJ in 2023, bringing with her a strong foundation in family law. Her prior experience uniquely equips her to navigate the increasingly common crossover issues between family law and estate planning.

Leila earned both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, where she graduated in the top 20 percent of her class, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2022. A proud East Bay native, born and raised in Walnut Creek, she values the opportunity to use her legal expertise in service of her community. She is committed to guiding her clients through some of life’s most challenging moments, such as the loss of a loved one. She takes great pride in building meaningful relationships with her clients and helping them plan proactively to achieve their goals.

Outside of the office, Leila enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and their two dogs, Onyx and Eevee.
